Parkade User Fees

This fee page incorporates by reference and is governed by the User Terms of Service (https://parkade.com/terms).

Parkade is a parking-management system. When users (Parking Spot Owners or Parkers) pay for parking via Parkade, they will be charged certain fees in addition to the “Baseline Price” for the use of a parking spot. The “Baseline Price” is the base fee for the parking spot. The total cost that Parkers will see and have to agree to before booking a Listing includes any Service Fees and additional fees as detailed below.
Service Fees
There are a few Service Fees that Parkers may pay when purchasing parking via Parkade, depending on the situation. Service Fees are directly paid by Parkers and fully retained by Parkade, and are itemized.
Service Fees include:
  • [For monthly parking only] A 3% fee for payments made using a card, including electronic wallets (e.g. Apple and Google Pay);
  • [For short-term parking only] A short-term parking fee of $0.25 + 3%, charged by Parkade on paid reservations of 45 days or fewer;
  • Applicable third-party fees, including but not limited to fees charged by applicable government entities, etc.
Failed Payment Fees
Failed Payment Fees are fees that may be applied by Parkade to Parker for failed payments. Parkade reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of failed payments, as permitted under applicable law. Parkade’s acceptance of Failed

Payment Fees will not constitute a waiver of Parker’s obligation to make timely payments in the future.
Penalty Fees to Parkers
Parkade may assess Penalty Fees to Parkers and collect fees on behalf of Parking Spot Owners for unauthorized parking or violations of parking policies. Penalty Fees are split 50/50 equally between Parkade and Customers (buildings)
Subleasing Fees
The following fees only apply when a spot is subleased between two Parkers.
Parkade Subleasing Fee
A Parkade Subleasing Fee is a fee added to the Baseline Price of a spot rental, paid fully by Parkers, when parking is subleased between two parties. For example, if the fee is 20%, and a Parking Spot Owner sets the Baseline Price of $10/day, Parkade will add a 20% ($2) Parkade Subleasing Fee on top of the $10.
Parkade Subleasing Fee
A Customer Subleasing Fee is an optional fee (e.g. 10%) that Parkade Customers (properties) may add to the Baseline Price, collected when parking is subleased between two parties at Customer’s property. The rate is set at Customer’s sole discretion, and can be set to zero. Customer Subleasing Fees are added on top of the Baseline Price (e.g. a Customer Subleasing Fee of 10% would add $1 to a $10 Baseline Price, for a total of $11) and the Customer Subleasing Fee is remitted in full to Parkade Customers.
