Over the past several years, at Parkade we’ve demonstrated our commitment to making parking better, but that’s not all that we’re passionate about. We also invest a lot of time into ensuring that our customers’ data is handled securely and responsibly. So we’re excited to share a major milestone in that journey: we’ve achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance.
We know that vendor approval can be a complex process, from seemingly endless security questionnaires, back-and-forth emails and long approval chains.
With Parkade, that process just got a lot simpler.
As part of the SOC 2 Type II vetting process, our security controls have been independently pressure-tested over time and proven to be effective. That means you can be confident your data will be handled responsibly.
It also means your life will be just a little bit easier. You can now:
In short, it's a months-long test on our security systems that proves they stand up to rigorous scrutiny.
This testing includes meticulous requirements around:
As parking management becomes increasingly digital, security becomes critical. You're trusting us with payment information, resident details, and operational data — and we've built the systems to protect it all.
While we previously held a SOC 2 Type I certification, Type II is a significant upgrade. Type I validates that security controls are designed properly at a single point in time. Type II goes much further — it proves those controls have been operating effectively over an extended period (typically 6-12 months).
This distinction matters. Type II provides stronger assurance that we'll keep your data safe consistently, not just on audit day. For enterprise customers and regulated industries, this level of maturity often unlocks deals that Type I alone couldn't.
This certification represents months of work, but it's really just one part of our ongoing commitment to security and reliability. We’ll be undergoing yearly audits to re-verify that our security standards are up to the level they need to be to keep your data secure as technology and threats continue to evolve.
If you have questions about our security practices or SOC 2 compliance, our team is always here to help. Reach out to hello@parkade.com.

We’re thrilled to announce one of our most significant leaps forward this year: the launch of dynamic maps across our mobile and web applications.
