Hi there, and welcome to Parkade! We’ve created this guide to walk you through getting started with Parkade, and answer any questions you might have.
Signing Up
Signing up on Parkade is easy! First things first, you’ll need to download Parkade. You can use the link below to download the app and set up your account:
Download Parkade & Join the 201 Isabella Parking Group
After you download the app and finish setting up your account with your phone number and email, you'll be all set! For Connection you can just enter which company you're an employee of (Howmet, Alcoa, Arconic). You'll immediately be able to start finding and booking daily parking.

If you don't use the link above to join the lot, you'll instead need to "request" to join the lot. Someone on the team will approve your request after review!
Finding Parking
How do I find (and pay for) daily parking?
Reserving and paying for daily parking spots is handled easily on Parkade! You can search for daily parking in the Parkade app by navigating to the Park tab at the bottom of the app, and then:
- Click Find Parking
- Make sure you’re on Fixed Date
- Select the date and time you want to find parking
- Click Search
- Choose the spot you’d like to rent
- Review the details and hit Book
- You'll be asked to choose who the spot is for (probably "Me")
- Enter your vehicle details!
If you haven’t already added a payment method to your account, you will be prompted to do so at this point. You can pay via Apple Pay, or via Credit/Debit card! Here’s another video showing this process in action:
What if I don't see any parking?
In some rare cases, you may not find any available parking when you first search — but don't worry! We have the Request feature in that case.
Simply hit Send request at the bottom of the screen, and you'll be taken to the request screen. There you can submit an amount you would like to request to pay for a spot.
When you send that request, you will monthly leaseholders at 201 Isabella that you are looking for a spot. On a first-come, first-serve basis, a leaseholder can accept your request to park in their spot, and you'll be set!
If someone accepts your request, you will be notified, and the spot will then appear in your active/upcoming reservations!
What if I want a longterm spot?
Waitlists for spots are still being maintained by your company parking managers. Please reach out to them to coordinate being placed on that list!
FAQs
What if someone is parked in my spot?
Parkade makes it easy to report someone parked in your rented spot — simply hit Report problem underneath your spot, and you’ll be directed to our problem reporting screen! You’ll be asked to upload a picture of the car in your spot, and enter the license plate information. A couple of things happen from there:
- If the license plate is in our system, we will automatically notify the owner of the car that they are parked in the wrong spot and need to move (This is why it's important to add your vehicle details when setting up your account!)
- You will have the option to cancel your current reservation and book a new spot, or wait for us to contact the wayward parker and ask them to move
Since 201 Isabella will not be open to the public, this reduces the chances of some unknown person taking your spot. More than likely, it is another employee that might have missed their spot by a space or two, and we’ll get in contact with them quickly!
How does payment for daily parking work?
Rather than paying for parking via tagging at the gate, you will pay through Parkade! When you first try to reserve a spot, you will need to add a payment method to your account — debit/credit cards and Apple pay are all accepted!
Do I need to use Parkade to continue parking at 201 Isabella?
Daily parkers at 201 Isabella will need to download and use Parkade to find, reserve, and pay for their parking needs. Your employer will no longer keep track of your parking via spreadsheet and withdraw from your paycheck!
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Canceling your reservation is simple! Provided it's no more than 15 minutes past the start of your reservation (and any time before it starts) just click on the spot in the app, scroll down and hit Cancel Reservation. We'll automatically refund you!
Will there be fewer spots to rent?
No! Since parkers with longterm spaces will be able to rent out their spots, you should see more available spaces on a daily basis!
Does it cost anything to use the app?
No! It will not cost anything just to use the Parkade app itself — you just need to pay for the parking spaces you rent.
Who will have access to the garage?
For the time being it will continue to be employee-only parking in the garage. The public will not have access to the garage when Parkade is implemented
What if I rented a tandem spot?
Tandem spaces will be clearly marked in the app! If you have rented a tandem space, here are some tips to make sure you don't get blocked in / block in someone else:
- Tandem spaces and the company they are associated with will be clearly identified within the app. If you park in a tandem spot, make sure you park in one linked to your company!
- If you are the first to arrive in a tandem space, make sure you park in the inside spot, even if you technically rented the outside spot.
- Make sure to leave your contact information in the car (name and phone number)
Will we still have a parking attendant?
The parking attendant will remain onsite until mid to late December, at which point we will completely transition over to Parkade.
Why does Parkade need a phone number?
Logins at Parkade are tied (primarily) to your phone number. We only use your contact information to send important information regarding your reservations, or to give you notice if your vehicle is reported as improperly parked.
Can I use a Google Voice / number?
Yes! In fact, you can use any voice service, provided it has a number that can receive text messages (including international phone numbers).
Does Parkade have access to my payment information?
No, no one at Parkade has access to your payment information. Credit/debit card information is handled by our payment processor, Stripe.
