“Let me tell you about this parking situation.”
Texas-raised Curtis has had a nearly lifelong affliction with transportation obsession. After college, he worked at Ford Motor Company, learning the ropes of the automobile industry.
Seeing a huge opportunity to change the way people get around, he joined the Zimride team in 2010 as their original sales/account management hire. From there, he grew with the company and helped the company pivot to Lyft, including personally managing the handoff of Zimride's assets to Enterprise Rent-a-Car, when Lyft sold off the original product and user base.
He partnered up with Parkade co-founder Evan Goldin to run experiments in the Lyft parking lot, and then helped create and scale the sales side of Lyft for Work — Lyft's first B2B offering. In 2018, he co-founded Parkade and continues to serve at Parkade's in-house parking consultant.
